Today is my first day with Denver Open Media. I will be working as an outreach intern working to spread the message of DOM to the Denver Community. I am excited to learn production skills and work with a fantastic group of people. Public access is integral to spreading ideas within the community, but now thanks to the always helpful internet we can extend our message beyond the local to the global. Independent media is essential in combating corporate media and offering alternative messages. I am ready to be apart of the independent media revolution.
