The "frames" don't work correctly with either Explorer or Firefox for printing a copy of the schedule (to confirm reservations or whatever). What is viewed in "Print Preview" is also not the same as what is printed, including the entire page instead switching from the calendar to the beginning of the comments. The sizing of column width varies significantly between the on-screen view to the 'print preview' view. This can make it impossible to get the reservation or open dates on the calendar to show up with print preview for the page - date & resource - to be printed, even in the Landscape orientation.
Not a big or urgent issue, with an new version of the software to be launched... Thanks, Guy
Hi,
I would like to reserve the big Panasonic mini DV camera and a tripod and a light set for the holiday weekend, picking up today at about 8 p.m. and dropping back off on Tuesday when you open up again at about 3 p.m. The system won't let me do it because it is so long, but I remember reading the sign at the studio that said you are closed for the full holiday so equipment signups have to be that long. If it is a problem because it is the Panasonic, I am willing to take the smaller cameras.
Please let me know.
Thanks, Tanya Ishikawa
The "Next" Button finally works, and the crashes with Windows should also be resolved, thanks to Brian's help today. Any other problems with the equipment reservation system?
Brian is actually working with MNN on an entirely new system which we hope to launch early next year that will track all equipment use per show and per user in your user account, so you can see your complete history of shows submitted classes taken, equipment used, and so on...
Neil, we use windows machines here too, and we don't get those failures. I am at a loss for the cause, but know that we are in the process of re-working the equipment reservation system. I'm hopeful we'll re-launch an improved version of it early next year, but its a slow process without much funds to pay for development.

Since inception, there are three run time errors that have to be cleared for every step of the process. I run on the windows platform when scheduling editing time from home. (It's really annoying!)
Thanks, Neil
you just pull up the week and the item you want (the easiest way to select the date is by clicking in the "week of" field, and clicking on the correct date). Then select the item you want from the drop down list, or by scrolling down the page. on the calendar itself, click on the box in the time where you want the reservation to start, the "start date" time and date will autopopulate. Do the same with the time you want to return the item, and lastly, fill out hte project field.
we're working on re-designing the entire tool, aiming for completion in early september. Until then, you can get to any week by clicking in the "week of" field and selecting the week you want.
(please note that you must click on a week-day, so if you want to see a week ending in a saturday, click any weekday preceding it. Otherwise, clicking on a saturday or sunday will take you to the following week). We apologize for the idiosyncracies, and we're hoping to have an entirely new tool that is more integrated with each member's profile by early September '07
