Needs Assesment within the Organization

Volunteers who are very pro-active and want to be a part of our team, but have skills and interests that lay outside of the other pre-defined tasks, are welcome to meet with any of our staff to discuss the possibility of creating their own niche within our Organization.

Any tasks or projects that are created must be discussed & approved ahead of time with our Executive Director as well as any of the staff that would be your direct supervisor. The projects must be meeting a proven need that the organization has, and the project must begin with a clear list of specific, trackable tasks. The staff supervisor will work with you to set up a task list and a way to track your hours and progress. 

Here are a few examples:

1. Developing & managing new fundraising events
   
2. Creating new video projects that promote the channels in the community
3. Developing an in-depth outreach / marketing plan for station
