Denver Open Media is responsible for administering the Public Access cable television services in Denver County. Our purpose is to ensure the ability of our community to exercise their First Amendment rights primarily through television and the internet in order to create opportunities for mutual communication, education, artistic expression and other noncommercial uses on an open, uncensored and equitable basis. In providing services, we seek to involve diverse racial, ethnic and geographic communities in the communication of their varied interests, needs, concerns and identities. Denver Open Media provides production facilities and equipment for the purpose of supporting public access producers in a fair and reasonable manner and to support programming on the public access channels, which are responsive to the needs and interests of its community.
